Barclays Volunteers Lend a Hand

A very big THANK YOU to volunteers from Barclays Bank who braved the elements to come and lend a hand on the reserve on Tuesday.

The team of seven worked hard ferrying in wheelbarrows of wood chipping, donated by Glendales, to help make the lower pathway easier to navigate.

Despite the miserable weather, everyone enjoyed themselves, slipping and sliding about in the mud, whilst trying to maintain control of the wheelbarrows.

Later, the volunteers helped to solve a question thats been a favourite of pub quizzes up and down the land – ‘How many bankers can fit inside a green toolshed?’*
